Jennifer Todd, Founder
Jennifer (Jen) Todd, founder and CEO of breakthrough partners, inc., is an experienced coach and consultant. She supports leaders in developing the attitudes and behaviors needed for high performance and achievement of tangible business results. Her background in business strategy and organization development, coupled with her deep expertise in human behavior and change, allow her a unique talent to facilitate and coach in a way that transforms leaders, teams and organizations. She is gifted at uncovering the truth and creating powerful interventions that shift mindsets and behaviors. She recently completed two large scale change (Whole System Transformation) projects in a Fortune 100 corporation that significantly shifted leadership, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, millions of dollars off the bottom line, and resulted in a shift in inclusive behaviors across the culture of the organization.
Jen’s clients over the years include CEOs, C-level Executives, Vice Presidents, Directors, Partners and leaders at all levels in large and small organizations, from large corporations and consulting groups to non-profits and small law firms. Prior to establishing the business, she held various roles leading, managing and advising on sustaining organizational change. Her most recent position was at Allstate Insurance as a Senior Manager of organization effectiveness. Her other previous roles include HR, business operations roles as well as external consulting positions with Andersen and AON Consulting.
Jen holds a Masters of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University, an Executive Business Program. During the program, Jennifer led multiple international consulting projects and wrote a thesis on the Effectiveness of Competency Models. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. She is a certified Coach and Franchise Owner for Best Year Yet ©. She is certified in the House model, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is trained in Gestalt methods of intervention which is embedded in all her work and has taught classes at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. Jen has also taken a series of trainings by Landmark Education and is a facilitator for AmericaSpeaks, a national forum for large scale town hall meetings on public policy. She recently published a Whole System Transformation client case study in the 3rd edition of “Practicing Organization Development” book.
Jen had a whisper in her soul for many years to discover her deeper purpose and go to Africa. She embarked on a personal and spiritual journey to fulfill a life dream and founded a women's mission in rural Africa that has empowered and educated thousands of women and girls in Pokot, Kenya (www.womenofpokot.com).
Jen now offers clients experiences to uncover their own purpose and tap into their whole self - mind, body, heart and spirit- to unleash their true power and passion. She also leads missions to Africa and partners with leaders from the United Nations Women, Word Vision, CARE and other non-profits dedicated to empowering girls and women globally. She has lobbied Senators to support foreign bills supporting women's rights globally and delivered workshops to female leaders from 16 underdeveloped countries at the 55th United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
Jen is passionate about spiritual and personal growth, is active in her church and community as "an instrument of change." Jen lives in Lake Orion, Michigan with her beautiful 17 month old daughter named Kenya. In her spare time, if she isn't chasing her baby girl around, she is boating, frolicking on the beach, hiking, meditating, doing yoga or hosting retreats in her peaceful cozy lakefront home.
